Momar’s Operations During the COVID-19 Pandemic
RE: Momar’s Operations During the COVID-19 Pandemic
March 23, 2020
Dear Valued Momar Customers,
Momar is considered an ‘essential business’ in the support of our country’s critical infrastructure. As such, we are currently operating at our fullest capability. We will remain open and continue to support your needs as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves. During these unprecedented times, we want to let you know that we will support our entire Momar family, including all those with whom we do business, in every possible way.
To protect the health of our employees, we are limiting non-essential travel, arranging for remote work whenever possible, severely limiting visitors to our facilities, and screening those visitors that must come on site. We are also highly prioritizing our cleaning and disinfection procedures, limiting in-person meetings, and doing anything and everything we can to stay open with essential staff only.
In addition, we have a business continuity plan in place that is designed to minimize any disruption in production or services. This plan will maintain the regular supply of solutions our customers, and will also protect the health and stability of our employees and associates. This plan includes:
- Utilizing alternative suppliers and/or manufacturing products offsite.
- Prioritizing orders for critical products.
- Hiring temporary employees.
- Allowing for additional overtime.
- Adding shifts or expanding hours to allow for parents to stay home when childcare is not available.
- Communicating with our business partners clearly, concisely, and in a timely fashion.
It is possible that, despite our efforts, you may experience delays with your orders due to significant order volumes, and due to restrictions placed on certain now-controlled raw materials. However, please know that we work tirelessly to process and ship every order quickly and efficiently, and also to effectively communicate with you any concerns we have with orders or shipments, as they may arise.
We will continue to closely monitor this situation and follow guidance from our federal, state, and local leaders. Should a decision be made that will substantially impact our operations or alter our current course, we will of course be in touch at once.
Sincerely,
Julian Mohr, Jr.
Chief Executive Officer
