Steamline Treatment
14725 is a neutralizing amine blend combined in a ratio that provides excellent corrosion protection in steam condensate systems. This tri-amine package is especially effective in steam/condensate systems where cyclohexylamine would be the primary choice of treatment. The amines in 14725 volatilize in the steam and neutralize carbon dioxide and other acidic components thus protecting the lines against corrosive attack. When condensate is returned to the boiler, the amines recycle through the system providing economical treatment. 14725 also reduces iron deposition in the boiler by reducing iron pick-up in the condensate system.
