AquaTrol 12524 is a formulation of non-ionic components designed to prevent organic deposits in open-recirculating cooling water systems. Organic contaminants normally enter a cooling system as a result of process leaks, contaminated make-up water, and/or airborne contamination. 12524 prevents deposits by dissolving and dispersing water-insoluble organic like oils and bacteria slime masses. As a result, it improves heat transfer efficiencies and scale and corrosion control by maintaining clean, deposit-free heat transfer surfaces and cooling tower fill. 12524 is compatible with all cooling tower treatment products at normal use concentrations.
