AquaTrol 12540 is a sulfuric acid-based product that provides economical pH and alkalinity control in cooling water. 12540 reduces natural water alkalinity to assure that proper cooling water operating control parameters are maintained. 12540 is also used to lower LSI by decreasing alkalinity in the cooling tower, minimizing the tendency for carbonate scale formation.
