AquaTrol 14420 is a non-phosphate boiler treatment product that precipitates and conditions feedwater calcium hardness to prevent scale and allow complete removal of sludge through regular blowdown. Precipitated solids and boiler sludge are fluidized by synthetic organic polymers in 14420 to precipitate their removal through regular blowdown. 14420 supplements natural water alkalinity and usually does not require an alkalinity adjunct product.
