Nitrite is most often used in closed systems as a corrosion inhibitor. We offer both the permanganate method and the CAN test method. The CAN method can be used in systems with glycol.

EndPoint ID test kits are packaged in a durable plastic case and include all reagents, equipment and instruction card to complete approximately 60-75 tests. Color coded reagent caps match the color bar on the instruction card for easy identification when running multiple tests and our photographic, step-by-step instructions keep testing simple and help users easily identify color changes.

• ND2229-B    Nitrite Titrant, 60 mL

Kit TK3310-Z (Permanganate method, 1 drop = 50 ppm as NaNO2) contains 1 each of the following items:

• PP1404-B    Permanganate Reagent, 60 mL
• SB1685-I      Acid Sulfate Crystals, 50 g
• VL-0525-V    Vial, 5-25 mL
