2-Part Solvent-Based Epoxy Prime Coat
A high-gloss coating formulated to provide a tough, protective finish. This 2-component, high-build coating may be used as a primer, intermediate coat or finish coat in a wide variety of coatings systems. Features excellent adhesion when applied to clean steel, aluminum and concrete.
- Provides a high gloss finish that resists abrasion, scuffing, marring, corrosion, and many chemicals.
- Available in clear, silver gray, safety red, safety blue, safety yellow, and white
- Penetrates & adheres to rust that is tightly bound to the substrate.
- Pot life is 3 hours once both parts are mixed together
- Coverage rate is 190 - 250 square feet per gallon
- Apply by brusing, rolling, or spraying
- Low permeability film.
When coating fuels tanks, we recommend using the 2K HIGH SOLIDS EPOXY MASTIC in conjuction with the 2K FLAKE FILLED EPOXY MASTIC. We recommend using the 2K HIGH SOLIDS EPOXY MASTIC as the base coat, with the a top coat of the 2K FLAKE FILLED EPOXY MASTIC
