AquaTrol 14862 is a specially formulated boiler treatment product that works to control oxygen pitting corrosion in steam boilers. Its primary application is in steam heating and other low pressure steam boilers that have a high rate of condensate return. 14862 is a complete internal boiler water treatment that contributes alkalinity and polymer to ensure proper dispersion of any hardness entering the boiler. It also contains a low level of chelant to help clean boiler tubes and a neutralizing amine which prevents corrosion of steam and condensate lines. AquaTrol adjunct products should be considered for use with this primary product where operating conditions warrant their use.
