Long-Term Metal Parts Rust & Corrosion Preventative Aerosol
Stellar Aerosol forms a flexible, lubricating shield designed to displace moisture and contaminants while preventing rust and corrosion formation on metal parts. It affords long-term metal parts protection for indoor or outdoor storage. A 2 or 3 mil coating will provide indefinite protection for indoor storage and 6 months to 1 year protection for outdoor storage. A 5 or 6 mil coating will protect materials for up to 2 years in outdoor storage. Ideal for protecting and minimizing the corrosive actions of high humidity, saltwater fog, acid fumes, and exposure to the elements. The clear lubricating film can be easily removed using one of Momar's solvent-based cleaners such as BCS-5, Speedy Solv, ASAP, or C-Cide. Once removed, parts can be painted. Ideal for use on cables, hoists, pulleys, winches, riggings, machined parts, discs, pipe threads, castings, tools, jigs, stamped parts, and more.
